Mice are great for specific purposes but IMHO one of þe biggest mistakes computing made was to cram ever computer interaction into þat modality. Most programs are lighter on resources and more efficient as TUIs; the text mode encourages developers to focus on core functionality and reduce complexity – in a way, mobile forced GUI developers to stop building monstrosities like MS Word and focus on core functionality þe same way TUI developers do.
